Barratt has had a long-standing presence in the market, as it was founded in 1958. The company has been listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1968 and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. Currently, it is led by John Allan as Chairman and David Thomas as CEO.
The developer operates through six regions in the UK and 27 divisions, providing a regionally balanced portfolio of homes. Barratt has built 3,600 homes in London and southern England, 1,770 homes in West England, 3,640 homes in East England, 3,430 homes in Central England, 2,850 homes in Northern England, and 1,850 homes in Scotland.
The company has entered into several joint venture arrangements with partners such as L&Q, Fulham Riverside, British Land, and Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing. It also has notable banking partnerships with Lloyds Banking Group, Bank of Scotland, Halifax, and Lex Autolease, among others.
Barratt has received a number of industry awards, including a 5-star rating in the Home Builders Federation new home Customer Satisfaction Survey for 14 consecutive years.
In the 2022 NHBC Pride in the Job awards, Barratt site managers won 98 Quality Awards and five Regional Awards, and Kirk Raine, a Midlands-based site manager, won the Supreme Award in the large builder category for the third time.

Hayes Village
The development of the former industrial area of Hayes Village in West London has transformed into a thriving area with 1,386 new homes and more than seven acres of green space.

The availability of 230,000 square feet of light industrial space increases the area's attractiveness and potential for additional income and employment opportunities. The project will soon create 500 permanent jobs, which will have an impact on the overall economic growth of the area.
Burnside Riverside Quarter
Burnside Riverside Quarter is located along the River Don, 4 miles from Aberdeen city centre. It also preserves three locally listed historic buildings and establishes new access and connections with Coulsdon town centre, enhancing convenience and the desirability of the area.
Manor Farm
Manor Farm in North Hykeham near Lincoln offers a semi-rural lifestyle while maintaining convenient access to nearby cities like Newark, Nottingham, and Leicester. With a substantial portfolio of nearly 1,000 homes, the development accommodates a diverse range of housing needs.
